Spotify's collaborative playlists feature allows friends to create playlists together. The feature was first rolled out in May this year after almost a year of testing. It is now getting an update which makes creating playlists with your loved ones easier. The new update brings vital new features like a very prominent 'Add User' button on top of a collaborative playlist. The playlist header will now show user avatars on the top right, right below the playlist name. Spotify will now also show the avatar of the contributor on every song or podcast within a collaborative playlist. https://leaguenew951.weebly.com/can-t-access-spotify-app.html.
If you on a laptop device and you go to make your collaborative playlist public, it would be greyed out meaning you can't make it public. There's a solution for that, if you download the Spotify app on your phone, and go click edit, you can actually make it public, my friends and all my cousins have done this so now we can add to each. To begin, sign up for one of Spotify's two subscription options: a free, ad-supported account or a Premium version, which costs $9.99 per month. Then download the Spotify app on your devices. You can create a playlist on mobile devices or on your computer using its. You can rearrange with the drag-and-drop method only playlists you’ve created (unless you’ve subscribed to a collaborative playlist to which you have the right to edit, which is indicated with a green music note next to the play-list name). Any other playlist you subscribe to can’t be changed by anyone except their creators. The new update, announced on Spotify’s blogpost, primarily focuses on making it easier to create and manage a Collaborative Playlist, made by you and your friends or family. Now, some new features are added. The first one is a new Add User button, located on the playlist header, which will allow you to more easily invite users to the playlist.
Spotify had been testing the feature since last year. However, it is not the only app that allows users to collaborate to playlists. https://leaguenew951.weebly.com/windows-spotify-app-slow.html.
